The Campaign for Drawing, The Big Draw 2012

Established in 2006, the Campaign for Drawing is an independent charity which raises the profile of drawing as a tool for thought, creativity, social and cultural engagement for people of all ages in all sections of society in the United Kingdom and overseas. The Campaign for Drawing seeks to engage people in creative activities as a medium for learning, to facilitate intellectual and emotional development, to encourage greater cultural appreciation and to heighten awareness, particularly through drawing, in a range of settings such as universities, schools, museums, galleries, heritage sites, libraries, community centres and other public buildings, parks, open spaces and the countryside.
