Happy Family Day, Vietnam!

Guess what, Vietnam? It’s Family Day! We’ve put together some great activities for the whole family.

Boat trip

Boat trips are a must, especially with the kids! In Southern Vietnam, take a boat trip down the Mekong Delta. Alternatively, embark on a tour of the Saigon River via river cruise. If you are visiting Hue, explore the picturesque Perfume River.

Visit the zoo

Whether you’re visiting the zoo in Ho Chi Minh or the one in Hanoi, you’re bound to be impressed with the variety of animals. The Saigon Zoo in Ho Chi Minh is located near The Museum of Vietnamese and the Hanoi Zoo is located near Cuc Phuong National Park, which has a good selection of native Vietnamese animals in the wild.

Cook off

Stay in and whip up a family meal with the kids. Choose simple dishes like grilled chunks of lemongrass beef (thit bo nuong), grilled meatballs (nem nuong), or freshly steamed shrimp (tom) prepared with a fresh rice wrappers (banh uot), strips of pickled radish, herbs, sprouts and rice vermicelli.

A night out

Indulge at Dinh Cao Night Market. Expect Vietnamese seafood, meat grills and vegetarian dishes. Rest assured the entire family will leave with a happy stomach!

Hit the water parks

Grab the kids and splash around at one of the numerous water parks available for the family: Dam Sen Water Park in District 11, Dai Gioi Water Park in District 5, Ocean Water Park in District 7, and Water World in District 9.

Most importantly, we would definitely recommend a staycation at our property, Fraser Suites Hanoi located at Syrena Tower on Xuan Dieu Street. Visit our website for more information and make reservations now! http://hanoi.frasershospitality.com/
